You don’t make a ninety nine on the test. You make a zero. You either have to be perfect or you need a savior who was perfect, and you have to put faith in him. He’s the one that does these interviews and goes up on college campuses and out on the street interviews people and often he’ll ask people you know. Are you going to go to Heaven and they’ll say well, Yeah, Sure, I’ll go to Heaven and he’ll say why do you think you’re going to go to heaven and they’ll say because I’m a good person. This same thing that good people go to heaven. Bad people go to hell. And so they are comparing themselves among themselves, which the Bible says he is not wise, but because they haven’t gone out and raped and murdered or plundered or whatever they think that somehow or another, they’re just going to be accepted by God, though he’ll begin to ask him questions, and he’ll ask questions, like for instance, have you ever lied, and you know, I’ve I remember this one interview, in particular, where the person me interviewed interviews, Well, Yes, everybody has lied, and then he read to him the scriptures where it says that all liars will have their part in the lake of fire that burns forever. One of the ten Commandments in Exodus, Chapter Twenty, says that you shall not bear false witness. That’s even stronger than just lying. False witness is presenting maybe a half. Something that’s true, but you just took it out of context. You leave people with a wrong impression. A false witness, and he shows them the scriptures, and then the people that will. Yes, I’ve done, and then he shows them well, the wages of sin is death. All liars are going to have their part in the Lake of fire, and then he’ll go and said, Have you ever lusted after a person? He’ll show more. Jesus said that if you’ve lusted it’s the same thing as if you have committed adultery. Have you ever hated a person in your heart. If you’ve hated them, it’s the same as if you have gone out and murdered, and after just asking them a few of these questions, all of a sudden, this concept of oil. I’m a basically good person. Is somebody good outweighs my bad, and certainly God’s going to accept me. All of that is just gone and these people are stripped, and all of a sudden, they realize that they are a sinner, and that if the Bible is true, and if what Jesus taught us was true well, then they are headed to Hell, and I’ve seen him lead many people to the Lord using this exact same logic. See before you can have conversion, You’ve got to have conviction of your sin, and even after you get bored again, it is beneficial to look. Does that pit that you were dug from to see what you were forgiven of any. It will make you love God, and it will keep you focused on God, and it will keep you from getting into this thing. Where somehow or another you think it’s your great virtue and your great ability that God is using Know God has never had anybody qualified working for him Yet. If God is using you, It’s because of what he has done, its in spite of you, your flesh, your your physical body and your soul is ram. The part of you. This not born again. That’s what the Bible calls flesh. It’s in spite of your flesh. Not because of your flesh. God does not anoint you. He anoints who you are in Christ. There is an anointing on you, and when you are in Christ. You are succeeding and winning. When you step out of Christ, you fall. You know it’s like a person flying in an airplane and you could be flying at five or six hundred miles an hour and thirty five thousand feet, and you could be thinking I am something I am flying in on. What. No. It’s not you flying. It’s that plane that is blind, and it’s your position inside of that plane that allows you to do that. If you don’t believe it step outside of that plane and see how long you will fly. You will sink like a rock. A man is not you fly, and is that plane in it Your position your relationship in that plane that allows you to do these things likewise for a Christian you may have a great voice. You may be a beautiful person you may have of physical talent. You may have an administrative abilities. You might be able to draw and act and to do things, and if you aren’t careful, you’ll get that they can look what I am doing. But no, the truth is far, I believe, or it should be what Christ is doing through you. It’s only as you submit yourself and retreat from trusting in yourself and putting all of the emphasis on yourself that you are really going to see Chrysler. Three, The Scripture says that his glory, he will not share with another, and even if you have these great talents and abilities, but if you are doing it, and if you are receiving the glory and the praise, and you’re sitting there, saying, Look what I have done that stops the power of God and that is the very reason that so many people who are very talented and have all of these great things going for them that they’re frustrated that things aren’t working because you aren’t letting God get the glory. You aren’t letting him live through you, But it’s you tried to do. Thanks. Bore God. You’re calling and asking for his blessing to come upon your effort. God doesn’t want to bless your effort. God want you to get out of the way and let him live through you. Now that needs more explanation. This doesn’t mean that you just sit there and do nothing, and somehow or another God does thanks know you do things, but you are doing it in response to him. It’s not your responsibility. It’s your response to his ability. When he tells you to do something you are doing it at his direction. You aren’t doing your thing and asking God to bless it. I tell you. It means Don’t do it yourself. Don’t do your thinking. Don’t do things your way. Instead. You need to let God be directing and inspiring everything that you do you know there’s a situate. I’m not going to go into any of the detail, but there was a situation that in the natural, it just looked like a great opportunity. And I thought about it, and I thought I need to be doing some things, but instead of me just doing it in the natural in following my own logic in my own thinking, I begin to pray about it, and God. How do I do this? What would you want me to do And I mean I prayed about this many times and it just I was getting no inspiration in the natural. Your spirit is born again, but your soul, which is your mind, and your will, your emotions and your physical body. Those two parts of you aren’t born again, and that’s flesh, and it’s this is what has talking about. We were fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature. That’s talking about the spirit part of you before you got born again and got this new spirit. You are by nature, the children of wrath, even as others. If you take the context of this verse in front of this, it says that we were all the children of disobedience in the spirit of this world, worked in all of us before we get born again. We were born in Sin. David said this in Psalms fifty one five, he says, Behold, I was, and in iniquity and in sand did my mother conceive me. This isn’t talking about that there was some adulterous affair. This is just saying that every person is born with a sin nature. Thanks for watching today.
